Nothing says Canada like milk in a bag!
The format became popular in the 1970s, when Canada adopted the metric system.
Many products were then sold by volume, like milk. Consumers in Western Canada turned to milk jugs, but the bag continued to reign supreme in Ontario, the Maritimes and Quebec.
Now consumer habits have changed and the demand for the famous 4L milk bags is decreasing and many experts believe they could disappear from the market.
